Lauren Randall — Founder of Bville Ventures
02 / Story

From napkin to market.

Lauren Randall is a brand architect — one part strategist, one part designer, one part relentless operator — who has spent more than a decade turning abstract ideas into market-ready realities. She founded Bville Ventures as the studio she always wished her clients could hire: a single partner with the range to take a napkin sketch and hand back a trademarked brand, a working website, a CRM, a launch plan, and a first cohort of customers.

Her career is best understood not as a single track but as parallel education across industries. At Zappos, she led the Private Label division — rebuilding seven brands from scratch, surpassing goals by 211%, hitting seven figures in year one, and architecting the company's first inventory-less pop-up across 20,000 square feet of retail. The work taught her how to operationalize a brand at retail scale.

"Give me a napkin sketch and I'll hand you back a trademarked brand with a website, packaging, CRM, social presence, and your first customers."

She founded Melonhopper — a pastel fashion sensation that hit six figures from a single product in three weeks, grew 340% year-over-year, landed in Dolls Kill and Beserk, and earned press from US Weekly to Cosmopolitan. The work taught her how to build a brand that moves culture.

Through the Walton Family's Runway Group, she helped reposition Bentonville, Arkansas as a magnet for innovation, top-tier talent, and women-led leadership — a pivotal chapter in the city's evolution into a hospitality and innovation hub. The work taught her how to brand a place, not just a product.

At Soul Machines, she catalyzed strategic breakthroughs leading Global Strategic Accounts, pioneering entry into Food & Beverage and Automotive verticals, and driving $1M+ in annual recurring revenue through enterprise contracts with Heineken, BMW, Nissan, and PwC. The work taught her how to translate cutting-edge AI into Fortune 500 conversations.

Across SaaS, retail, e-commerce, biotech, legal, home services, and hospitality, the common thread isn't an industry. It's a method: see the world differently, lift the veil on conventional thinking, find the move others miss, then build relentlessly.

Today, from Orlando, Florida, Lauren works with founders, operators, and Fortune 500 teams who want a single brand partner with the range to do the strategy and the work — not hand off scope to a junior team and disappear.

04 / Philosophy

How I actually work.

Six operating principles that show up in every engagement — from the first conversation to the final handoff.

— 01

One partner, every discipline.

Most consultancies hand off scope to a junior team after the kickoff. I don't. Strategy, identity, web, AI, sales — all the work runs through one set of hands. The result: nothing falls through the cracks between disciplines.

— 02

Listen first. Hard.

Every engagement starts with deep questions, not pre-packaged answers. The best brand work happens when the founder feels genuinely understood before any deliverable gets drafted.

— 03

Strategy and the work.

Strategy without execution is a deck. Execution without strategy is wasted budget. I do both — and they inform each other. The brand book and the launch landing page get built together, not in series.

— 04

50% right brain. 50% left.

Aesthetics matter and metrics matter. The luxury polish on the website matters and so does the conversion rate. I refuse to pick one — and the work suffers when consultants pick one.

— 05

AI as amplifier, not gimmick.

AI is part of every modern brand build — not because it's trendy, but because thoughtful integration makes founders 10x more capable. Workflow automation, content systems, intelligent intake. AI is leverage, not a feature.

— 06

Build for legacy.

Every brand I build is meant to outlast the engagement. Decisions get architected for decade-out scale, not next-quarter applause. The studio's name says it out loud: building legacies.

05 / Disciplines

The full toolkit.

A working list of disciplines I actively practice. Not every engagement uses every tool — but the range is the differentiator.

06 / Personal

Off the clock.

Range matters in the work because range matters in the person. A short list of obsessions outside the studio that quietly shape how I think.

World travel

75 countries and counting — on a quiet mission to visit every one. Travel is the original brand education: every culture is a different aesthetic system, a different value framework, a different way of seeing.

Luxury craft

High-end taste, perfectionist instincts, and a deep belief that quality details quietly compound into brand equity.

50 / 50 brain

Right brain and left brain in equal measure. Aesthetic perfectionism and analytical rigor refuse to compete.

Building relentlessly

Personal portfolio at laurenrandall.com — plus a growing library of children's books at sophiacan.com. Apps, prototypes, books, and side ventures.

07 / Begin

Let's work together.

Whether you have a fully scoped RFP or just the seed of an idea — every engagement starts with a conversation.
